Eaton-Williams Appoints New Sales Director
Guy Hutchins has been appointed Sales Director for the Eaton-Williams Group Limited.
The announcement was made by Ian Sams, the company's Managing Director and General Manager.
"Guy's appointment will strengthen our sales activities, driving forward our plans to further develop sales, grow our markets and build on our successes in providing solutions for the data centre and high density supercomputing environments," comments Ian Sams.
With over 25 years sales and marketing experience at national and international levels and over 10 years' experience in the mission critical sector, Hutchins brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the role.
He has held a number of senior positions in sales and marketing management, business development and technical sales engineering. Prior to his appointment at Eaton-Williams, Hutchins was Sales and Marketing Director at SemperTec.
Hutchins holds a number of professional qualifications and was recently made a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and given Chartered Engineer status.
"Eaton-Williams is a major player in the HVAC industry and has an extensive portfolio of well-established brands ranging from the QUALITAIR® cellar and produce coolers to VAPAC® humidification products and the MODUCEL® air handlers with FANWALL TECHNOLOGY®, which can all be supported with service and maintenance from Eaton-Williams Service."
"The company is also rapidly developing a reputation for engineering solutions for data centres and mission critical environments, where reduced energy savings, optimal performance, energy efficiencies and reduced carbon footprints are driving the move towards solutions that deliver positive benefits without compromising performance and reliability."
The company has engineered a number of award winning solutions most notably for the world's first zero carbon data centre in Iceland. Earlier this year Eaton-Williams was recognised by Dell with the presentation of a Data Centre Consulting Services Partner Award at the Dell Data Centre Technical Summit held in Kuala Lumpur.
The appointment of a sales director is a new venture for Eaton-Williams, as the company embarks on a more aggressive strategy with an emphasis on developing its customer base and growing the business."
